I’ve received the package with the drag strap and slings.  We did a WMD radiological drill here at DIA and I got a chance to try out your drag strap.  I had it attached to my SCBA harness and connected it to the same on our simulated victim.   It worked fantastic!  I've also been playing with the slings to figure out the best way to carry hand tools, meters, etc.  I’ll keep you posted.  We have a Tactical Rope Access Techniques (TRAT) course coming up and will be working with Denver and FBI SWAT

I have performed some more tests on the tether you sent for re-evaluation. One thing I did was place 100lbs of weight on the tether and suspended it for 24hrs, occasionally putting some static load on it by bouncing it. I wanted to see if over time and use if the elasticity of the bungee would give out. It did not; after taking the weight off the tether it recoiled back to its original position.

The next test performed was evaluation of length. We were unable to get the tether around the largest operator to connect the tether back to itself for deploying it around the chest. I would recommend another 9 inches of bungee part of tether. The new handle position is outstanding! The un-tethered portion is perfect for connection of other tether with “daisy chain” portion. If it is ok before I send it back I would like to take it to our training on the 18th so I can show everyone on the team what we are looking at.

Overall, I think the tether has been improved almost too perfect application. Once the length issue is resolved I would definitely recommend this tether over the competitions.

I've had a chance to work with the different K9QR's that I purchased and found NO issues at all. My only concern was the ball on the release getting caught up on something while tracking. After testing it out on several tracks in wooded areas it has yet to get caught on anything. I even walked through heavy thick brush, as much as my Dog would go through, and still was successful in keeping it from getting caught on something. I believe however that there is more of a chance in using the K9QR during other K9 situations than a track. For example during a traffic stop, felony stop, building search when dog is on lead, or an area search when dog is on lead

Other than having a little trouble figuring out the best way to use the concealable sling, everything is working great.  I have the AWS attached at my left shoulder (I'm right handed) and it has worked great!  Strong and support side shooting is un-impeded and transitioning to handgun has been made much smoother.  Thank you for the great product!

Just wanted to shoot you a email and thank you for sending me a box with the t-shirts and the sling. The sling is such a good idea and will come in handy, hopefully only for training but what better place to put it to test but here in Iraq
